About BRD HUSH WOOD™:

BRD HUSH WOOD™ laminated wood products are multi-layer wood panels used in floors and other building structures to reduce airborne noise and impact noise. These high performance sound deadening materials can be substituted for standard wood materials in any new construction or renovation project. Model HW-100 grade is 1 1/4" thick and weighs 3.2 lbs./ft.2 while model HW-200 panels are 5/8" thick and weigh 2.3 lbs./ft.2. Model HW-300 is 1 3/8" thick and weighs 4.4 lbs./ft.2.
 

Above graph shows performance comparison for HUSH WOOD™ HW-100 and standard wood sub-floor constructions. Results show a 6 to 8 dB reduction of footfall noise using the HW-100 material.
